Peekd ("Peekd," "we," "us," or "our") provides an email tracking and follow-up assistant that connects to your Gmail or Outlook inbox. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and the choices you have — including, specifically, how we handle data we access through the Gmail API.
By connecting an inbox to Peekd or using getpeekd.com, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.
In plain terms, here is exactly what Peekd does with your inbox once you connect it:
Your name, email address, and profile details provided when you sign up or sign in with Google or Microsoft.
Subject lines, recipient addresses, send/open/click/reply timestamps, and — only for emails you send through Peekd — the message body, so we can track engagement and power AI follow-up suggestions.
Pages you visit in the Peekd dashboard, features you use, device type, browser, and IP address, collected to keep the product reliable and secure.
If you upgrade to Pro, our payment processor collects and stores your payment details directly. Peekd does not store full card numbers on our own servers.
The use of raw or derived user data received from Workspace APIs will adhere to the Google User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Peekd’s optional “Generate reply” feature uses an AI provider API key that you add in Settings. If you use it, Peekd sends only the selected thread (subject, snippet, and the message text needed to draft a reply) to that provider, solely to produce a draft you review before sending. Peekd does not use Gmail or other Workspace data to develop, improve, or train generalized AI or ML models. Peekd does not transfer Workspace data to third parties so they can train their models. You should only connect providers whose terms prohibit training on API customer data.
We do not sell your personal data or your Gmail/Outlook data. We share data only with:
Data is stored on infrastructure provided by reputable cloud hosting providers. OAuth tokens and message content are encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to production data is limited to authorized personnel who need it to operate or support the service. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information using industry-standard practices.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can disconnect your Gmail or Outlook account at any time from Settings, which immediately revokes Peekd's access and deletes the stored OAuth tokens. You can request full deletion of your account and associated data by emailing hello@getpeekd.com — we'll complete deletion within 30 days.
You can also revoke Peekd's access directly from your Google Account permissions page at any time.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@getpeekd.com and we'll respond within a reasonable timeframe.
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember basic preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
Peekd is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email or through the dashboard before the changes take effect.
